Conference Interpreter, AIIC member since 2004. I was born in Brazil, lived in Canada and France. Presently my professional address is in Rome, Italy. My professional career began in 1986, when Portugal joined the European Economic Community. Since then, I have been working as interpreter in the political and entrepreneurial fields, and as translator for different international organizations. I have constantlty up-dated my knowledge, taking courses of Law in the context of EU, European and Monetary Union, Law for Linguists, Professional up-dating courses for Portuguese Interpreters, Spanish Language and Culture, The Constitutional Future of Europe, Comparing EU and US Constitutions, The EU and US in a Changing World, Languages in International Relations and many others. I took Translation and Interpretation at UNESP (University of the State of San Paolo), graduated at the American University, with a BA in International Relations and teached Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation at SSML Gregorio VII and at UNINT University for International Studies of Rome. Presently I work as a free lance interpreter, equiped with bidule (moblie equipment for short meetings), available for RSI and always ready to help clients find the best solution for their conferences, meetings, or B2B needs.
