Every month, the Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation organises a reading group, where one person chooses a recently published academic journal article in the field, which we all read and then come together to discuss. Our May 2020 session was the first of these discussions we held online. Each month, we will be repeating the process and deepening our discussion. This is the (constantly growing) lineup of articles we will read:

September 2020:

Maitland, Sarah. "Imagining otherness: on translation, harm and border logic." The Translator 25, no. 3 (2019): 204-217.

Nominated by Ye Tian (Queens University Belfast)

Please note that for copyright reasons, we are not able to send these articles to anybody who does not have access to them already.

These seminars are open to researchers around the world, irrespective of university affiliation. If you would like to join a discussion, please read the respective article first, and register for the event to get the link to the webinar.
