This master’s study programme will mostly attract those who are willing to get more profound knowledge in translation and localization methodologies and technologies, as well as improve their skills in translation technology and management of translation projects. One of the greatest advantages of this study programme is an opportunity to improve written translation skills in different language combinations. Graduates will be able to solve translation and localization issues, acquire skills in  Lithuanization of software and texts online, translation of audio-visual media, and use of translation technology for translation, alignment, terminology management and other purposes.

Students will have the possibility to acquire individually chosen competences (in management, law, language studies, etc.) or select the career as an expert of the field (gain more profound knowledge in the field, necessary for  solving scientific issues).

Duration: 2 years

Requirements:

Average grade (CGPA) > 60 %

IELTS ≥6.0, TOEFL ≥85, CEFR ≥C1, or previously completed studies in English language.

Lithuanian or Russian language as native OR Lithuanian or Russian language level CEFR ≥ C1 OR previous studies completed in Lithuanian or Russian.

Often you can get a suitable transcript of bachelor degree from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian.

The documents must be legalised (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.
