The ITES Master’s degree programme of Ca’ Foscari University is the only one in Italy that offers a path integrating translation and interpreting skills, and the only one that has a Chinese-English language combination in addition to Chinese-Italian, with the additional competence of Cantonese. The integration of two main European languages (English and Spanish) and the most widely used non-European language in a single Master’s Degree course, together with a specialisation in the field of both translation and interpreting, guarantee the comprehensiveness and interest of the contents in this programme.

Requirement:
The Master’s Degree programme in Interpreting and Translation for Publishing and for Special Purposes is of limited access and require, as well as the possession of adequate personal preparation and specific curricula requirements, taking and passing a selective test.
Enrolment is based on the position of the candidate on the ranking list.
Certified understanding of English language at B2 is also required, to be shown at the moment of enrolment. Process of verification and cases of exemption are indicated in the specific section. This knowledge will be checked ex officio at the time of enrollment.
