Amazon is hiring a Program Manager, Translation Services


Key job responsibilities
· Identify, develop, drive and/or delegate programs that feed the ambitious vision of the department
· Supervise process improvement projects that increase team efficiency and excellence in the area of localization
· Maintain an efficient relationship with localization vendors, resolve issues at scale and anticipate needs associated with vendor experience
· Develop and maintain accurate and diverse vendor database following and anticipating business needs
· Drive the implementation of localization tooling and automation
· Conduct data analysis and derive actionable items for the business and your team
· Create inspiring team culture in alignment with the leadership principles, and based on open communication, inclusion and high levels of job satisfaction
· Define goals, assess and manage performance of the individual contributors reporting to you (you'll manage a team of 4-8 program managers)



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree, ideally in a business, technical or linguistic domain
· 7+ years of experience in program and/or people management, or proven equivalent experience
· Ability to report and analyze data and identify opportunities
· Experience creating new processes, tools, and infrastructure
· Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and work in a goal- and deadline-driven work environment,
· Ability to think critically and creatively to address customer, vendor and process needs
· Superior written and verbal communication skills in English



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· experience in people management, or
· experience building business strategies, or
· experience driving innovative solutions, or
· experience in vendor management
