The Department of English seeks to appoint a Lecturer in English Literature who will contribute extensively to the teaching of our successful BA and MA programmes in Literature, particularly in the period 1750-1850. The position also includes the opportunity to develop modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to undertake research degree supervision.
Experience of teaching in the relevant research area as well as a proven publication track record is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to make a substantial and sustained contribution to the internationally excellent research profile of the Department, and will have appropriate publications, ideally including a monograph (either complete or in prospect), relating to English literature in the period 1750-1850.
Salary: £34,805 - £40,322 pa Grade 7 £41,526 - £52,560 pa Grade 8
